The National OIC Local Organizing Committee held its 3rd meeting on Thursday since the appointment of the new Chairperson, Mrs. Binta Jammeh-Sidibe.
The meeting is part of the Committee’s regular monthly consultations to share updates and strengthen the work of the Secretariat in mobilizing needed resources and ensuring timely implementation of the priority projects.
Mrs. Jammeh-Sidibe was briefed on the activities of the various committees.
She discussed the need to leverage domestic capacities and make the OIC relevant to all.
Following the meeting, the Chairperson, accompanied by the Chief Executive Officer of the Secretariat, visited the premises of the Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara International Conference in Bijilo, among other project sites.
